FRESH FOOD AND COFFEE: THE ESSENCE OF SEATTLE

In total we were in Seattle for only 2 days (and even that is stretching it a little). So it was a whirlwind of a visit, but I really loved Seattle. I would even venture to say it was my favorite city on that trip. The balance was good: city but not too much - there are lots of open areas and parks, people are quite laid-back and good food (and coffee) is important to them, and it's very easy to navigate the city.
I loved the colors of the Public Market and was shocked by the giant lobster tails (and I have big hands!), walked past the original Starbucks, enjoyed shopping the sales a little and lazing around in the park at the foot of the Space Needle.

Check out pictures from San FranciscoCrater Lake, the Oregon Coastline and Beaches, Rogue River, Mt Hood, the Redwoods, Multnomah Falls, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and it's geysers and springs, Artist's PointPortland (OR), and Vancouver (B.C.)!
