ABOUT

“When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money”.

Who doesn’t love going on vacation? What we maybe love less is agonizing over what to pack, how much to pack and what to pack. Do I prioritize feeling comfortable? Or looking good? Or should I pack those new shoes I just bought? Do you really need a 25-kg suitcase for a weekend trip?

So why choose? I attempt to solve the dilemma by providing inspiration of things to pack without compromising on style or comfort or weight allowance. As well as sharing my personal experiences and practical tips.

Who am I?
I'm not a flight attendant or a pilot. I'm not a fancy jet-setter who has trips organized and paid for by someone else. I'm not rich but I'm also not poor. I'm just a regular person with a regular job and a regular income. Perhaps with an irregular desire to travel, get lost and discover. I make mistakes when I travel, like anyone else, but I try to share what I find out and learn from my experiences so others can avoid them. I do always pack light, although I don't backpack, and unless particularly specified all the trips described here are made with just a carry-on, under or around 10kg. That's all you need!

Special thanks
to the special guy in my life who has inspired me to live my dreams. He's also the person who takes most of these pictures of me.

Since 2010, we've been to about 20 countries (and counting!), 5 of the 7 continents, and seen 5 world wonders together. And it marks the beginning of my decision to travel light without compromising on my sense of style.
